Terms and Conditions

You can reserve Villa Gauguin in 3 easy steps:

1. Check the availability and select the week (or weeks) you want to book
2. Enter you personal information ( name, address, E-mail)
3. Confirm and proceed to payment through Paypal, secure payment system.

If you payment is accepted, you will immediately receive a confirmation of the payment and the reservation. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover, all payable online. If you make a reservation 60 days prior to arrival, a 50% deposit is due at the time of reserving to ensure your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival date. If you make a reservation within 60 days of arrival, a full payment is due when reserving. Due to high demand, all reservations for holiday periods require a full payment upon reserving.

The payments cannot be split up between multiple parties. One party has to take responsibility of making the payment of the property. All prices are quoted in US dollars. All payments must be made in US dollars.

USE OF RENTAL PROPERTY

Villa Gauguin is to be used for residential purposes only. An inventory of Villa Gauguin will be done and signed by Tenants upon arrival to property

• Tenants shall be responsible for taking respectful care of the rental property and for replacing and/or repairing any damage, breakage, or loss caused by Tenant or their guests
• Removing any item from Villa Gauguin or rearranging the furniture is not allowed
• Only the number of people indicated in the Rental Agreement is permitted to stay over-night at Villa Gauguin
• Villa Gauguin may NOT be sub-leased
• Any deviation from these provisions will result in immediate forfeit of your deposit, additional charges to be paid on site and/or eviction

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to high demand, we have to enforce strict cancellation policies. We recommend you to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received by e-mail to info@villagauguin.com. If a refund is applicable, the refund will be processed by Villa Gauguin within two weeks. For security reasons, we prefer account to account wire. We will contact you to get your transfer instructions.

• Cancellation prior to 60 days from arrival date will result in the forfeit of deposit.
• Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 75% of the Total Rent.
• Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent.
• There are no refunds on cancelled holiday reservations
• No shows, late arrivals, reduction in the number of guests and early departure are all Non-Refundable
• If Villa Gauguin is not available due to “force majeure” (hurricane, floods, fire, repairs...) all paid deposits will be refunded in full.

WEATHER

No refund will be paid for bad weather or hurricanes. Hurricanes are by nature unpredictable and an act of God.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

Villa Gauguin requires a Security deposit of 1000 US dollars to be paid on arrival. Security deposits will be returned by on departure provided nothing is missing, damaged or requires more than routine cleaning.

SMOKING

Smoking is permitted on all outdoors areas (terraces, gardens, swimming pool). NO SMOKING is allowed inside Villa Gauguin.

PARTIES

Absolutely no parties o other special events are allowed without advance written authorization of Villa Gauguin administration.

PETS

NO PETS are allowed in Villa Gauguin.

CHECK IN – CHECK OUT TIME

Check-in is after 3 PM and check-out is before 10 AM. Secure storage of luggage will be provided if Tenants require an early arrival or late departure.

KEYS

There is a 50 US$ charge for lost keys.
